Couldn't sustain drives to put the game away with our 10pt lead. Like always our defense tired out.

If Kyle had Jim Harbaugh's balls, he would have stuck with Trey in 2021 like Jim did with Kap.

Jimmy was expected to be gone the next season anyway.

Lance is G League he can't play. I mean just look at em, JG is QB1 and has near 60 NFL starts, TL is QB3. Will he start another game?

I wouldn't have trusted Lance to get past the Rams to even have to worry about the playoffs. Especially, after that dismal performance against one of the worst teams in the NFL that year.

Its honestly funny to me that you call Lance's performance "dismal" when Jimmy had plenty of games that were similar to this one over his tenure here (and I have never once seen you call his play dismal). He had games that were markedly worse too. Yet with Jimmy, all that mattered was the wins. Funny how that same logic isnt applied to Trey.

And yes, the Texans were one of the worst teams in the league that year. But they weren't one of the worst pass defenses in the league, and were coming off back to back wins.

Jimmy had some bad games. But, thankfully they were greatly outnumbered by his good games. Funny how you were always quick to point out the bad ones and never gave him props for the good ones. But you want to sit here and praise Lance for his awful play in majority of his appearances with the exception of one Qtr vs the one the worse teams in the league. Apparently, 4 games is enough sample size to determine he's not very good, just like I and others have been saying. Eitherway, Lance and Jimmy shouldn't even be compared at this point in their respective careers. Maybe one day we can revisit this, but as of now it's just lol's to me.

Ppl try to put the spin cycle on full blast. Let's comp JGs worst games, to TLs best, in some bizarre type of see they are on the same level, post. I think they are only fooling themselves. I think 100/100 ppl who watch the game, see JG is a better QB, than Lance.

This isnt true at all. I have complimented Jimmy plenty of times, but it is never acknowledged by you or anyone else who disagrees with me saying Jimmy is at best an average QB.

And see, this is exactly the problem I have with people who defend Jimmy at all costs. Show me where I praised Lance for his awful play? Where was I praising this Texans game or any other game? You are so emotional about the topic that you are making things up. I have never once praised Lance for anything in any game. Also, I am not comparing Jimmy and Lance, as Jimmy has had exponentially more success in this league. I wasnt comparing the two as players at all. I was simply comparing the results of Lance's game against the Texans to many games that Jimmy has had with our team.

Where is the spin? Lance's game against the Texans was a game we saw sooooo many times with Jimmy. Uninspired QB play, poor half, better second half and a win. I am included in those 100 people as, again, I have never once said that Lance is the better QB. But you Jimmy guys are so emotional about the topic, you arent accurately representing what people like me say.

Exactly. What more is there to say. Some folks are reelin right now, and what is there left for them to do other than attack their known punching bag in Jimmy. It's quite hilarious lol

Exactly? LOL. Where have I ever said Lance is on the same level as Jimmy? You guys are too much.

Just like you've never acknowledged when I've been critical of Jimmys play. So quit with the BS.

If you agree Jimmys had exponentially more success in the league than Lance what's the point of this discussion. to say, jimmys not perfect. Okay we agree. He's had some stinkers. Lance stunk the majority of his time here and coach agreed so he shipped him away. What is there more to talk about lol

And you talk about emotional when you're still in here trying to have Jimmy debates at every chance you get. Whether it's here or in niner talk. So quit with the projection lol

Me debating about a player is not exclusive to the Jimmy thread, so it has nothing to do with being emotional. And if we are using the fact that I post in here as evidence of being emotional, then the same logic would apply to you.

I agree, Lance showed us very little if anything in his 4 starts. You wont ever hear me say anything different. However, you will never hear Kyle say or even insinuate that "Trey stunk thats why we shipped him off." I dont believe he thinks that. As bad as Lance was here with us, I will never use his play here as evidence that its not possible that he develops into a good QB. My grade on him as a 49er is Incomplete. The fact that we traded him means the pick was a bust for us. But in spite of that, I still dont think its fair to say the 4 starts are all the evidence necessary to prove he will always suck.

I hardly post in here. The only reason I came in today was because I knew a few would use his recent interview as another way to bash him, even if what he said was correct. And guess what I wasn't wrong lol you on the other hand though…

Bold - of course you wouldn't think that. Forget the fact that Kyle seen him for way more than 4 games we saw. (It's like you don't get this and you never will, even if it's repeated a billion times) Forget kyle demoting lance to QB3 and shipping him off to a major rival for a measly 4th rounder. Yeah all that means nothing. Sure….lol

too bad Kyles grade on him wasn't good enough to retain him at least as QB2. So, your incomplete grade means squat to me lol

OK. I'll play along. Show me where I bashed him after his comments. I'll wait for your response before I address the rest of this post.

the "you on the other hand comment" was in regards to being in this thread waaay more than me looking for Jimmy arguments.

Was the "a few would bash Jimmy after his comments" not directed at me? Sure seemed that way. If not, I apologize. Its been a solid week since I posted in here before today, and then another 10 days prior to that. So its not as if I am regularly coming in here to debate people.
