I wasn't super excited about Jimmy G but sure hecka lot more than Sam lol. But Jimmy probably should be a starter somewhere, too good to stay as a backup. He does look good in black lolol. I think the Raiders are going to be pretty good this yr. As much as that hurts a bit to say lol

Oddly enough your hypothetical situation is pretty close to the current situation on Lance. He's due $20m remaining cap hit to backup a guy who was Mr Irrelevant. I'm more concerned about the real situation, than your made up one. JG was paid well here, but always in a QB1 role, until the 2022 season, but that was on the reworked contract, and he started a lot of games that year.
