I hope the kid gets a fair shake to develop. Being down on a 21 year old raw project isn't nearly the same as an 8 year vet making almost 30 mil a season.

The team and most fans will give him time, but here on The Zone he will be scrutinized unfairly and mercilessly because this forum is mostly a swinging dick contest and there is very little actual play discussion. There is no intent on having a debate, to begin with. There is a 20-30% minority on here that drives 90% of the discussion because they come in and leave some bombastic post intended to rile people up which is inevitably what happens and starts months of back and forth about who is or is not right. I don't even believe that the instigators even believe half the s**t they post, they just get off on getting people riled up about. It's the reason I rarely participate anymore despite being on this forum for stinkin ever.

I'd settle for a game where he hits the league average QB rating (approximately 92) in a playoff game for the first time. It'd also be nice if he improved on his worst in NFL playoff history 4th quarter QB rating. All he would need to do to double his 4th quarter rating from his average is throw a few balls into the dirt.

How do we know this ? How often has he ever done it? U can't expect an 8 year vet to all of a sudden turn into a playmaker. He is what he is. Expect 180 yards and a couple turnovers at this point. If we r good enough to compensate for that awesome.

He's thrown for 3+ touchdowns and zero interceptions 3 times in his career. 2 with SF and one with NE.

We have made it to the Elite 8 of football. 24 teams are already in offseason mode. Even for the Super Bowl winner the offseason is terribly long. I'll enjoy this remaining time of the season while it lasts. Credit to all our great players we needed everyone of them to get to this point.
