the first step is to be ready to play the game vs tampa. how many times over the last many years have fans breathlessly predicted some blow out only to see us blow the game. and lose it in the first quarter getting down by a bunch cuz we were not ready. jimmy needs pre season time and he needs to get hit

Every team had issues tackling early in the season. I blame the CBA.

Not to mention the ungodly amount of missed tackles... i kept yelling at the TV like they could hear me or something. It was as if they were afraid to hit.

Looked at their roster and it's definitely a little better than I expected. Some talented guys on both sides of the ball. Home openers are always tough. Need to get an early lead and force them into passing situations where Ford, Buckner and Bosa can wreak havoc

Definitely agree with cc on this one. The damn Arizona Cardinals swept us last year, and although with Jimmy back and the additions we made I do think we are a much improved team over last year, I don't think we can go into any game as heavy favorites until we prove we can win consistently

I couldn't agree more. When you're coming fresh off having the number one pick in the draft, every win is a quality win.

lol at bringing up zona sweeping us when we were a totally different team with bs qb play, horrific d and pass rush. Zona is a joke that we shouldve beaten twice last yr with crap play and a team we'll beat twice this year

I take it you mean "we were a totally different team" for quite awhile back. We haven't beaten the Cards since 2014 when we split with them.
