PFF provides fodder for a lot of talk shows that is not especially reflective of a player's overall value. However, that should not dissuade anyone from using their more overall evaluations in forming a pretty good relative opinion of a player.
Just because they're tracking a stat doesn't mean they're holding that stat highly. Reddick is rated poor by them. The stat is what it is. So far they haven't missed a tackle this year. But if Aldon Robinson had 0 drops, Julio had 1 it doesn't make Aldon better nor did PFF suggest that.
