CJ is going to get another go. Hopefully Kyle tells him, your ass better not be taking sacks all day. Make a decision and rip it kid.

What do we do with this guy now? Keep all 3?

I bet we keep all 3 in camp for sure, and injury will dictate what to do before the season starts (the 49ers or other teams).

CJ Beathard set to be Kirk Cousins long-term backup for the #49ers. Shocking that he went above Nathan Peterman.
So much lol in this post

Definitely. Looking at all the drafted QBs in 2017, the only ones better are the ones you'd expect at this point- Watson, Mahommes, and Trubisky. If he can get those sacks/picks under control a bit, he has a future as a backup.

I do too.
A lot will depend on how JG has healed.
Also, Nick is very good and I wouldn't be surprised if a QB needy team makes us a VERY good offer.

Totally feel bad for this guy, was rooting for him but just don't think he has it. Certain parts of his game are fun to watch such as his arm, athleticism and the fact that the dude is as tough as nails. But his inaccuracy, decision making, footwork and pocket presence are just flat out horrible. Sucks how we wasted a 3rd on him.

Not eligible, since he was on the full roster for two seasons.

This. Plus, as bad as he's been, even if he had eligibility, he wouldn't last on a PS.
I really wish he could put it together, but it doesn't seem likely he will have much of a chance outside of preseason snaps to play anymore.
