The loss had nothing to do with CJ, it was the suckass defense that lost this game and the other 2 this year. The offense has put up enough points to win all three it's the defense that is terrible.

CJ showed he is nothing more than a backup. Dude takes so many huge hits he will never make it through a whole season. He was late with the ball multiple times.

Difference between Jimmy G and Beathard was on display on that play were Derwin James jumped up in the air and knoicked CJs pass down. Jimmy would have side armed that for a completion. Next year cant come fast enough

I don't think anyone is saying CJ is better than Jimmy at least I am not. I noticed that play also and thought a pump fake and then a step out to throw the ball would have served him well there. With that said though CJ is more than an adequate QB to win games hate throw this out there but I noticed on several of Jimmies passes the receivers having to reach back for the ball. But I do think CJ is more than able to win games, again I go back it is the suck ass D that is hurting this team.

Saleh needs to be fired. He either doesnt teach tackling or the players are just ignoring him, either way its bad

my opinion about things prior to the game has not changed.. cj is more than fine. no issue with him. pass protection remains crappy and of course as 33 just stated. this clown dc needs to go and f**k his asst coaches. terrible terrible terrible tackling as usual. you can not win football games like this. mainly due to the defense we managed to find a way to lose a game and not win it. an all to familiar theme prior to jimmy last year. giving up that stuff before halftime was inexcusable. kyle also shares the blame for his management. but once again. same old issues. terrible defense. and yet some defend saleh, but cj and the offense aside from pass protection is fine. we probably need a upgrade in the wide outs for next year to take the next step in my opinion but for now ,. its fine

yes. that was not a smart post and look who this is coming from.lol. the long pick return got me a bit. but you know. the good outweighed the bad so much. and he was quite good. due to pissy pass protection his back up worries me but you can say the same about any third string guy on any team. i assume the kid will get tons of reps this week?

20 points is not enough offense against a team like the Chargers.

ok, i did not say he was elite. i said he was fine! as you said. fine will probably not cut it against alot of teams . i just think cj is who we have for the rest of the year. i would rather see the team improve the pass protection or the defense if they are to make some sort of a roster move this year. maybe i just have a very low bar and i do predict four wins for this team. but in regards to cj i am fine with him

He lost the game, not the defense. More than fine would have won the game.
