Yeah but he had his career year when Hoyer was the QB maybe worth a flyer. Can't say he is any worse than what we currently have on the roster plus he is familiar with Kyle as well.

2015 was his career year and McCown was his qb.

May not have been a good scheme fit? Had 1100 yards in 15 but with Hue his production slipped. At least that's my best guess.

He fell off last year, and hasn't he had some minor injury problems over the last 3-4 years? Either way I would still take him at a vet minimum over the trash TE's we keep holding onto for some reason. (unless they were just trash because tomsula/Chip)
