Really really hope he does. Do not want to spend 30 million dollars per year on Kirk.

That would be awesome if Hoyer really gives us a season to think things over.. Kirk kinda turned me off from Sal Palotonios interview, playing games it looks like now making his money but trying to have the fans on his side.

30 mill can be 3-5 legit starters and thats not to be taken for granted.

Very good call SC!

f**king Kurt Cousins.. Playing with everybody's emotions lol. Pulling up in a GMC van and s**t to show hes humble. Hes good, but he aint fooling me while at the same damn time he IS fooling me
Lol, come on guys...before Hoyer was on our team, he's a bum. Now that he's a niner, you wouldn't be surprised if he edges out cousins statistically?!

Why not, sooner or later when your QB's performs like a top 10 QB you'll have to pay him. Or are the 49ers gonna just get rid of QB's once they have to pay them? Besides, the cost of a franchise QB is going up, pretty soon $25-$30 million will be the norm.

If the chance is there you gotta go for it unless CJ is looking THAT effing promising.

Guess you can say by next FA i really do hope its a rock in a hard place.

Better to have them on a rookie wage scale and win Superbowls, so they can shore up talent everywhere else IMO.

You gotta do it.. We shouldve won one, SEA shouldve had two, Cowboys should contend for the NFCC.

If Garçon,Kerley and Juice can get us 2k yards receiving. We're looking at Goodwin,Robinson,Taylor, RBs&TEs to get us another 1700-2000 yards. I think Goodwin,Robinson and Taylor can get us close to 900-1K yards. So then that leaves 700-1K between RBs and TEs.

6000 yards?

37-4000.

Screw that we need the 6,000 yds, that puts us probably Top 5 on average yards per game.
37-4000 that looks like bottom feeder offense.

Watch Hoyer and Cousins have a similar statistical sssason lol.

Which is very very possible.

Agree and it isn't far fetched in Hoyer edges him out.

I think Hoyer best season was around 3500 yds and 15 TDs. That would seem like a down year for Cousins.

It's certainly worth entertaining but they need to give us Jimmy Garrapolo.

Nobody wants to acknowledge this but it is basically already here. If anyone thinks this is unrealistic, guess again. It is upon us like crap going thru a goose. You may not like it but there it is.

Obviously, this makes the final decison on your Qb, key, but it would be highly desirable to be sure he IS the one ...FIRST...before you write that check.

All of this talk of trading or cutting our best WR from last year for a unproven rookie reminds me of everyone's love for a guy named Devon Cajuste who didn't make it and hasn't done much yet. Kerley is proven we need veteran leadership

I agree. I simply do not understand. To think a rookie is going to be more productive than a proven vet(a good one at that) is crazy talk.
