I thought this guy was excellent last night along with Ronald Blair, another good addition to what is becoming a formidable rotation. Can't wait to see Armstead get on the field as well.

Tough call here. He seems to have a better nose for the ball than Purcell.

I think at this point, the only thing going for Dorsey is his experience. He simply hasn't been healthy enough the past couple of seasons (to include right now) to make an impact on the field. Sucks Williams went down as I would be extremely excited and comfortable with Williams and Smith as our two NTs. Smith and Purcell will be nice but very young and inexperienced in the middle.

Let's make this easy and see if this GSmith guy can still perform well all pre-season long and hand him Ian's spot for at least this year.. so far, he's been earning all this playing time..

Purcell should be a back up DE and not a back up NT. Purcell is explosive.

Would soften the blow of Dorsey and Williams being out if this guy can turn into w player. Not holding my breath, but maybe he turns into one of those "come out of nowhere" contributors .
