RB Kelvin Taylor - 6th Round pick

He been doing much in training?

Mike Davis wasn't making a lot of noise but showed out game 1. Hope Taylor knows with Harris/Draughn looking solid as well IMO, he better have a crazy sense of urgency or he's PS bound most likely,

He reminds me a bit of Gore in that he understands the nuances of running. He obviously learned a lot from his dad.
With a year of physical development, he might be a good 1a/2 option.

AGREE... much to learn young one, much to learn..

Headed to the practice squad and I am pleased that with his potential, he will most likely stick. i expect that after a year of development, he will make the team next season.

Me personally, I'd rather cut Draughn who is nothing special and guys like him are usually available off the street while you keep a young RB like Taylor who is on a cheap contract for 4 years and showed some nice upside, especially in this type of offense.

I'm kind of with you here Phoenix. I like Draughn, but he has peaked as a player and isn't getting better. Davis and Harris have done some good work this preseason and I would be comfortable with them as the #2 & 3 backs. At the moment the Niners are building for the future, and I would prefer seeing what the team has with the younger guys and getting them experience. If they flame out, so be it, but at least the team knows what they have moving forward. Draughn is a stop gap.

I don't see how you can cut Harris, Taylor & Davis. These guys have so much upside. Draughn is Draughn
