I didnt see any tight coverage passes in the video he completed.... any QB in college should be able to complete passes to open WRs.. I have to see more of his passes sliding into tight windows.. Plus his passes dont appear to have any snap on them... Arm looks a bit weak
It was like thy Lord created Blaine, then made a copy and called the copy Driskel

Blaine: 6'4", 235lbs, hand size: 10", 40yds: 4.61 sec.
Driskel: 6'4", 234lbs, hand size: 9 3/4", 40yds: 4.56 sec.

Great. He's just going to check it down and rely on the defense to score points

Roll out to the right and throw it out of bounds.

In field goal range, just take 3 sacks for no more than a 3 yard loss. 3 points here we come! No risky throws.
9 3/4 hand size

What a terrible idea. The Super Bowl wining QB from last year was "lighting it up"....

One of his greatest attributes IMO is to throw under pressure. Look at his game vs Kansas state. He's got a lot of upside for a 6th round pick. He's a pretty resilient kid, and his teammates seem to love him from what I've read. Hope he takes the next step.
Plutonium grade raw material
Funny, Smith actually wants to reach the level Driskel is at

If by Smith, you mean Akili Smith, I guess you are correct.

Do you not remember the Vernon Post (The Catch III) and Alex's run.

He had 2 great years under Harbaugh. He's done well at KC.

I get that, but Kap came from a lesser conference also.

That's true, but Kaepernick was a better college QB than Driskel was. By far.

That said, Driskel's easily the better fit in a pro' offense. Hope they don't play him as a rook so as to ruin him though.
I don't know if Kap was. He was a better college running back than Driskel in college but Driskel was actually better as a passer. I only talking final year though.
Looks pretty good.

Might be able to nab the third spot.

At this point, Alex would be a nice backup for Blaine, with Driskel waiting and learning.
