Yes. He broke his leg early on and hadn't lived up to his draft position. Belicheck makes everything better tho.

Wow, this is an interesting trade.. Belly needed a OL and he may have found a real gem in Cooper once he's healthy.. Trading Chandler Jones for this OG tells you something about this UNC kid..
I wonder if Baalke ever thought of trading a player or a pick for Cooper?

Can't see why Belichick pulled this trade off. Chandler Jones has an Aldon Smith body type with a similar skills. Cooper was injured his first season and never hit stride in his limited career profile. The Cardinals were looking to move him to center. Maybe Belichick is trying everything to prolong Brady's playing days.

I'm all in for Garrett. I'm rooting against signing more free agents just for the chance of getting Garrett/Watson next year (and because we get to roll over anything we don't spend anyways). A top 2 pick may be good enough to sign Garrett if the team picking first needs a QB. Watson could replicate this season and be in the conversation for the #1 pick with Garrett.
I'm more excited about the possibility of getting Garrett in 2017 than I am with whoever we'll get at 7. He's that much better than anyone in this draft class.
