Jerry Rice
Randy Moss
Terrell Owens
Michael Irvin
Chris Carter
Tim Brown
Take Harrison off the list easily and also Irvin.

You can maybe add carter and Hudson from gb way back when. He is listed as a top wr in almost any poll.

The BEST 6 WRs I ever saw play.. 1981 to present..

1) Larry Fitzgerald - don't hate me for this but he's got better hands than Rice and TO's size to get physical after the catch.. had he played with Joe and Steve.. he woulda had 250 TDs!!

2) Jerry Rice

3) Terrell Owens

4) Calvin Johnson

5) Charlie Joyner

6) Randy Moss (Tie with Sterling for the years he only played)

Some great names there. I don't know that I could put TO ahead of any of them.

Largent and Alworth are unknowns for younger folks here. Alworth was as smooth as butter but could take a hit. Largent was the consummate professional. Always seemed to get open and make the big play. Just never dropped a ball.

Without Lynn Swann Terry Bradshaw would be shoveling hay on the back 40. Bradshaw would just throw it up and Swann would go get it. His Super Bowl catch was one of the 10 best of all time.

Fitzgerald? Yes.

5.) Cris Carter

:Largent was awesome, and like you said, he catches anything within his reach.. I saw lots of his games, and only saw ONE drop from this guy.. during a PRO BOWL game where Boomer threw him and just plain dropped the ball.. I remember the crew saying that it was left handed spiral... sure was awesome to see!!
Rice, Moss, Owens, Holt, Fitzgerald, largent

Funny how the 49ers had 2 of the best WRs in the league on their roster at the same time, along with Steve Young.
