Overall, Wilson played well, but this goes to show how important their defense is. After being down 31-0, they didn't allow another point. They stifled the Carolina offense. Without holding them to no points, this game wouldn't even have been close. This is yet another example of him getting more praise than he deserves.

Russel deserves the praise.
If you have some dumptruck back there who can't throw for s**t then the defensive effort is wasted.

And the converse is true too. It wouldn't have mattered how well Wilson played if their defense didn't blank the Panthers. Plus, Midget was directly responsible for 10 Panther points (a interception TD, and threw a pick at his own 35 yard line).

Like I said earlier, Wilson played well. He'll get more credit than he deserves though, because we love narratives.

Didn't say it was great, but it's replacing the Manning/Brady. They've played about 6 times already and 2 being in the playoffs. Their teams are top 3 in the NFC. Both are without a doubt top 10 QB's, if not top 5. Tell me how it's not the new rivalry. They have many more matchups coming in the future. Oh they play again next season.

I think they mean it is nowhere near Manning and Brady because they are all time players

Like I said, I didn't say it was great, but it's a rivalry. Manning is probably done and Brady has a few years to go. Find me another QB rivarly worth watching?
