RB Travaris Cadet - Where is the love ?

I think Cadet was especially signed with Seattle in mind. They struggle to cover strong receiving backs like Vereen, Charles, etc.

So let me understand something here with this guy and his stats.

It's ok he he dropped, fumbled the ball that ALL led to turnovers when he was in at RB and this on multiple occasions.

It's ok the opposition know when he is on the filed that 49ers will be short passing off to him. Ie. predictable.

He is on the team cause he is big and can catch the ball in motion out of backfield.,...not for blocking as Draughn is in the team for that.

He is the best option for the team as we have no one else that can fill that role.

Sometimes a player's specialty and a defense's expectation is something you can use against them. Like running a draw play with Cadet. Or running playaction on short yardage with Gaskins.

Not really that worried right now, probably because I already have low expectations about playing the Seahawks in Seattle to begin with.

Not much love for this guy to be sure.

The coaches are under huge pressure to keep their jobs, they cant afford another blow out loss, but a close loss would be acceptable to the penny pinching FO.

they have showed their cards with signing up RB vets and giving limited use to rookies. so I would expect ongoing close losses for the rest of the year. aiming for the high draft pick and ultra conservative play books they have been using this year to keep going all year.

I think Seattle, especially, is good at reading situational players/plays. If we run into a brick wall time and again, then it's a pretty good bet they know what's coming.

Not saying we can't psych 'em out, but I just don't see Seattle, in particular, getting burned by us. I'd love to be wrong.

The only travaris cadet thread is this one. Out Of The entire supporter base of the 49ers including modes, it took an Aussie to post the thread topic about our latest signing so that we can all discuss things about cadet.

Expected more from a vet poster to try and troll this thread. if you want to talk about Hayne suggest you go to,his thread(s) they are easy to find for they are near the top of first page in niner talk every day.


He who shall not be named is of course trying out for the same RB spot, inevitable to have one or two comments on this thread as comparison. Though you will note most of the post here are on cadet.

Hyde will not be making the trip to Seattle this weekend so that leaves us with Drone, Gaskins and Cadet. Travaris should get plenty of touches, especially as a receiver out of the backfield. He might have himself a decent game.
