That is true of most coaches. No QB = no SB.

I'm not a Fisher fan but I love the fact he will pull off a well designed trick play on occasion. I recall two times the Rams hurt us on punt plays where we didn't mark the gunners and they passed to them for big gains.

Most coaches with that record don't get $7 million per year for there next job.

you had to bring that up,, while we are at it,, lets bring up the toss to ginn at our one yard line.. never quite figured out why playing the rams with the former coach always brought out the worse or greatest level of retardedeness ( if that is a word) in our team

Sorry 'bout that!

As a Hawks fan, I loved to hate Harbaugh, but he was pushed out the door for a yes man. You are in the same position as Dallas, with Jerruh pulling the strings for Jason Garrett, and until that structure gets repaired, the guy you need won't get hired.

And if this was fantasy island, the coach I'd wish for you would be Jimmy Johnson. It would immediately bring you respect, and it would refire our rivalry.

That's an interesting choice for HC. Yeah, with both teams below. 500, anything to kick start and renew the competitive rivalry would be cool.

One problem though, SEA owned my Niners past few years. Tough continuing a rivalry when it's so one-sided.

Traded for him in the off season and already moving on....

#Rams coach Jeff Fisher announces that Case Keenum will be the starter this week. All right.

Nick Foles is not injured. This is simply Jeff Fisher making a QB change to Case Keenum.
The Saints are falling apart, Sean Payton, if given a free hand, would give us a competitive team year in and year out. Fisher? The Rams seem like they can't get off the blocks. That's a track and field term not a football term.

I would like to see him come here as well. He would restore a lot of credibility the minute he walked in the door. He is a Bill Parcells disciple who has embraced at least a portion of the WCO.

There seems to be a lot of discord in the FO in NO. Some of may be a hangover from Bountygate in which Payton had to sit a year. I would not be surprised to see him leave after this season.

The problem with him coming here is that he would not come without that free hand you mentioned, and I don't see Jed giving up the spotlight. Baalke is another matter...

Payton is the FO. He has final say on all personnel decisions. Their GM is a glorified accountant. If anything he's shown that he should never again have final say on personnel.

Now if you meant the issues with the ownership....that is a whole different story.

Can't say that I am surprised. Nick Foles was the product of Chip Kelly's system. Put him in a conventional offense and you have a guy who's not very mobile and not very accurate.

Payton and Baalke wouldn't have issues coexisting I don't think. Really comes down to if Sean has seen the error of having total control. Parcells connection should help.

York just has to just sign the checks and let the football guys handle things.
fisher is prolly coaching in Los Angeles next year with USC Trojans
I thought I heard it all, but damn Fisher?? Really? What made you think he can turn this franchise around? He didn't do it in STL and they have a great Defense and bunch of top 15 picks...they haven't sniffed the playoffs yet.
I would want him for a coordinator but not head coach. I know Mngini has experience, but Jimmy T needs at least two former head coaches on his staff.

If Helton wins out.... May not be the case.

However, the money is on the guy at Houston to be the next SC head coach.
