I've never seen manziel go past his first read and stay in the pocket often. If his first read isn't there he likes to leave the pocket, but it works for him so far.

Pettine basically inferring Johnny only made plays outside the pocket.... STFU, Captain obvious.... That's who he is.... That's what he is.... Enjoy it.... And enjoy your few remaining games as head coach.... That hire was Tomsula bad.... Somebody saw this guy walk into a room and decided he was head coach material.... Life ain't fair....
