But if they win they will come in confident. We can just hope for an "aggressive" "physical" game that leaves them fairly bruised up for next week. Knowing its the patriots though it will be more of a pillow fight than a heavyweight slugfest
All the talk of the Niners losing key players on Defense, how about the Pats, Revis, Browner and Wilfork. No way the team can overcome losing those three. Brady played in his last Super Bowl.
I couldn't name a single player on Pittsburgh's defense. Big change from what we're used to. Brady, Gronk and Edelman will carve them up.

An opening day loss on the road as big underdogs vs the Super Bowl champions will have zero effect on our week 2 match up. They will still be without Pouncey, Bell, Bryant and whoever else gets banged up. We have known we were playing Pittsburgh on a short week since April so I'm thinking we have taken some time to look into them already. I think we get off to a 2-0 start

I have a awful feeling that New England is going to blow Pitt out of the water. 42-21 Patriots.
Pats lost two starting OL, one of them is their Center

They lost two starting CBs

Brady can only throw short and can't scramble

They got lucky last year is a soft AFC, and the AFC is soft again this year

I think they might lose, but the first game is always the toughest to figure out

It wouldn't surprise if New England came out like gang busters because of all the controversy the team faced with deflate gate.

Sometimes controversy leads to an unimpressive 8-8 finish. I seen it happen

Asante Cleveland gets 4tds and 240 yards receiving.
I thought Cleveland didn't make the team?

I think he's on their PS

Jason Worilds, there you go.

LB Timmons still plays for them

Brady is going to tear that defense up.

It says on nfl.com the game is on NBC and Redzone channel.

Does that mean they will show the entire game on redzone or just scoring, or is it bogus?
Wendell inactive, Patriots down to undrafted rookie center

Tom Brady is back for the Patriots, but he'll be taking snaps from an inexperienced center.

Tonight's inactives are out, and a big one is Patriots center Ryan Wendell. With New England having already placed center Bryan Stork on injured reserves-designated for return, undrafted rookie David Andrews will be the starting center.
