I think saying Trent Brown will be an anchor at RT is premature, I do think he can be very very good though. Countless 7th (and later) round picks have gone on to have excellent careers.

Tom Nalen, one of the best centers of all time, 7th round draft pick.

Jeff Saturday, All-Pro center for the Colts, undrafted.

Brian Waters, 6 time Pro Bowler, undrafted.

Jason Peters, 6 time Pro Bowler, undrafted.

Matt Birk, 6 time Pro Bowler, late 6th rounder.

Of course not...but to his point, a 7th rounder shouldn't be dismissed so quickly. At the same token, obviously Brown probably needs further development before we really start talking about a starting RT. Maybe next year is more realistic.

Looked really good tonight. Had one hold. But other than that was rock solid. We gave up a 7th string TE for him. Killed NE in that trade.

Yeah, can't complain much about his play tonight. The whole line mostly played pretty well. Wasn't a flawless night, but it would be hard to give them anything but an A for how they performed last night.

NE actually traded him to us for a 7th? I fail to believe that they have 9 or 10 OL guys better than Devey.

I believe had a holding penalty other than that didnt hear his name. sounds like he and pears did really well. those guys will go a long way in determining our season. our 2 biggest question marks this season were right side pass blocking and kap (mostly pocket presence)
