I know this sounds crazy and PSYCHO but check this out.

Baalke is pretty good at evaluating LB talent, Id trust he could find someone in the draft over the next few years(May already be Taart). Would rather spend that money we'd spend on Wagner toward a lockdown corner.

I think a true veteran lockdown corner costs more than Wagner even though Wagner is probably a top 5 ILB. It's a moot point, because Baalke isn't going to do anything with Wagner. Wagner would be awesome on this Niner team though. With Wagner and Bowman, the Niners would have two guys who can go sideline to sideline with anyone, just like they had when Willis was healthy next to Bowman.

But on the other hand, with this pass rush the Niners have now, a lockdown corner back there would make it awfully hard for any team to have a decent passing game against the Niners.
