How do you like Rodger Goodell's NFL

Two hand touch is just a rule change or two away.......

I know this may sound crazy but the season might be in jeopardy. I dont think its gonna happen but there is an outside chance. As far as goodell. Well he falls under the same rules as every business model out there. He did not commit any of these crimes (although I think he is a weasel and his laundry might get aired soon, plus did you read the super bowl city selection article that came out a few months ago. The NFL is dirty) bit when you have majore problems you cut off the head and start over. Just a thought. I could be way off. Remember when the government probed into steroids

Even the refs don't know the rules. How could they will so many of them and they are subjective in nature.

The problem is the league changes the interpretation of the subjective calls on a yearly basis. Defensive holding seems to mean something different every time the wind blows a different direction. Could you imagine being a referee, the first meeting of the year starts with "Forget everything you have been told up to now." They need to make everything black and white, which will alter the game drastically or keep down the same path they are going. They always could change one ruling then change another to balance it out. Example, no touching a receiver what so ever ever until a pass arrives unless he engages a defender to block. If a receiver goes to block he becomes open game and can be grabbed and thrown out of the way like any other blockers. To counteract receivers being able to get open easier go back to the blocker use of hands rules of 35 years ago. Blockers elbows cannot bend more than 90 degrees, hands cannot extend outside of shoulders, no grabbing or holding of any kind. This makes it harder to block so while receivers get open easier QBs have less time.

I've decided I'm only watching Niners games and I'm not even all that excited about it tbph. During the summer I was all hype about our SB chances, now I don't even really care. The refs will decide who wins the game in the end anyway, so what does it matter? Honestly, I think they've already decided the winner.

The NFL has a big head and thinks that they can do whatever the f**k they want to the game and that people will continue to consume it. They're probably right but they're not getting a f**king dime more of my money. I won't buy shirts or tickets and I should f**king write down all the companies that advertise during the games and say "f**k you, you aint gettin my money either" . I got soooo f**king pissed at the calls Sunday night and I just cant do that to myself. it's not worth it. It's not like I'm getting paid or that I'll even get a ring. s**t, I already gotta prove i'm not a bandwagoner as it is so wtf does a super bowl really mean in the grand scheme of things? I just wanted to see ONE SB win because I never got to, but f**k it, I don't think it's in the cards for me.

f**k the NFL and the owners and the refs and whoever is responsible for ruining the game. They ruined it so that more points would get scored, so that it would be less violent and palatable to women and children and therefore more people would watch. I hope irony takes a big bite outta their ass when people decide to say f**k it and just stop watching. I know it won't happen and that's a shame because they are punking each and every last one of us with this b******t. They think they can do whatever they want and it's f**ked up. We take too much of this s**t as it is as a people and a society. Now they done f**ked up football. Just give em flags or make it two hand touch and be done with it.

Yup. I didn't have any problem with Tags. People criticized him for his indifference when it came to player misconduct, but at least the games were watchable and entertaining. These last 2 weeks have been torturous to watch. The product on the field sucks ass.

I wish I could cancel my subscription for the Sunday NFL Ticket. I however will not be subscribing to it again and will not be buying any merchandise until this league stops presenting itself as the WWE. This league has become a 3 ring circus and it is no longer about the integrity of the game. I invested a lot of time, money and emotion into something that has now become a national laughing stock. I love my Niners, always have and always will but we cannot keep putting money into the pockets of people who don't give a crap about us fans. We need to hit them where it hurts.

I didn't have a problem with Tags either. Fact is Goodell is ruining the game and the NFL is reacting to the law suits with the rules. I think its BS that every year there is a new point of emphasis. Just call the rules in the spirit of the game that they were meant to be called and be consistent. This ticky tack crap and inconsistent enforcement of penalties across the board is ridiculous. It is awful to watch and I seriously, for the first time in years had lost interest while watching a Niner game.

Been watching the game since 1968 and have many fond memories of the days when Jack Tatum, Skip Thomas, Mike Curtis, Ray Nitschke, Jack Lambert, Deacon Jones, At**ter and Lott were allowed to hit as hard as they could. But since Goodell took over it's been becoming more and more like the Arena League and less like the game I grew up with. These ongoing stupid rule changes have me seriously thinking this might be the last year I watch pro football. It's really a shame to see what the game has become when the Lingerie League allows harder hits than the NFL.
