I would be all for it! With NFL rule changes and this kids arm they could definitely do some damage. Mallet got a bad rap coming out of college, but you can tell he gas grown up to be a real professional.

Ryan Mallet is the next Matt Cassel

I doubt it! The only comparison is they are both tall and backed up Brady.

Bradford has never come close to living up to his high draft status. The Rams may be not much worse off with Shaun Hill. I can't believe Hill is only 34, seems it was eons ago he played for us. I thought he was late 30's on a guess before looking him up.

Definitely locked the Rams with his contract. They are lucky they were able to draft a solid defense. Those Terapins look a lot older than what they really are. Lol
They had excellent draft position to get a QB and I really thought they would.

Glad they didn't. Not glad about Bradford's injury.

Hill is a real competitor and will surprise a lot of people. He shouldn't be under-estimated.

I really don't think the Rams will be in contention BUT they will be spoilers - it's just a matter of who's season they ruin.

I give props to Hill. Fisher is a good / respectable coach.

Fisher on Hill, "I have all the confidence in him" ....

what else was he suppose to say

Hill is a good QB, just limited in some areas. I don't think it's a huge drop off from Bradford tbch.

Bradford was putting up really good numbers at the beginning of last season. 14 TDs, 4 INTs, 91 passer rating in 7 games. The guy is just made of glass

eh, 1st 7 games included playing the falcons, jaguars, texans, and a shootout with the cardinals.

then pretty much as ass whippin by errbody else
Hill will be fine...he's a veteran, understands the game, his limitations and won't make many mistakes. They'll pound the ball w/Stacy, use their TE's in a controlled passing game. What Fisher may do is upgrade Hill's b/u...it'd make good sense to do that. Their defense will have to play very well consistently, as it's likely the offense won't score a ton of points.

So how would you describe Hill, then?

Hill is an average quarterback. That's why the Rams chances aren't going to be hurt by the injury.
