How many of you on here are aware that only two Steelers head coaches have come after him?
RIP Chuck, what a legend.

Count me as one, thats why I said they are a model franchise. One of the few franchises I have profound respect for. From The Rooneys,Cohwer to Tomlin, all stand up guys.
In any sport to have had just 3 coaches in more than 40 years is to be admired.Salute

when I was in grade school this guy was to me the iconic NFL coach and it was then I jumped on the Steeler bandwagon with their domination of the '70s. Accordingly I learned to hate the Cowboys LOL. For whatever reason I seamlessly hopped over to the Niner wagon with "The Catch" (which coincided with Pittsburgh's decline in the '80s). The fact our Niners' 1st SB run was against the Cowgirls made me even more of a fan. But anyway, God bless Chuck Noll (especially for making Dallas his biotch).

Noll, Cowher and Tomlin. All won at least one Super Bowl, and appeared in multiple Super Bowls. They truly are the model franchise in the NFL. especially when you factor in longevity into the equation.
The amount of support and prayers to Noll's family from former and current Steelers was nice to see as well.
