Aaron Rodgers: "Not much" separates the Packers from the 49ers

The last two games we played, it came down to the wire. So there is some truth to it.

Overall, there is a large talent gap between the two teams. It's not even close IMO. I think Rodgers is so outstanding, he keeps them in the ball game. Because their o-line and defense can't handle our team.

no he's not. people have to understand that in football, not MUCH separates our chance to win the SB than other playoff contenders. That doesn't mean we aren't way better. However, the NFL is unique in that in a 1 game playoff, it really is a 50/50 chance of winning. even if we have more talent, because both teams are great, all it takes is a few lucky bounces (the same thing as NOT MUCH). The fact that they have Rodgers will always keep them in the hunt and I believe they have a chance to beat us, as do the Saints & Seahawks in the NFC.

It's true. Packers arent' that far off. the last 2 games we've beaten them were by a combined 9 points. They were close games.

True. When they won the SB in 2010, they had a Top 5 defense. Lacy gives them a running game again, but they are having a lot of trouble re-tooling the defense.

Rodger's is top three easily, the question is the Packer defense. They pick up old pieces and say they're better. Eddie Lacy is a young Marshawn Lynch. Let them take down the Seahawks and then we'll see.

Outside of the QB position, they wish they were as close to us as he feels they are.

We've gotten closer in the WR dept. so the gap isnt as wide as it once was.

I'm glad we've 4-0 against GB the last 2 years. I was so sick of the mid 90's to 2010 where they beat us almost everytime. We were 1-11 against them in that span. The 2012 Playoff game where Kap ran wild against them was awesome because a new era had finally arrived. We have Green bays number right now.
