Its because he's way better than our posters will ever give him credit for. He got torched by Brandon Marshall like 15 years ago and that stuck with too many posters.

Both his INTs this year came from the guys he covered being in the wrong place. I still think he's a liability in the slot…

He's been torched this year at slot. Even on the INT he played it wrong and was luckily in the spot to make the play. I think it was Donte Hitner that pointed it out after the game. This was probably the only game I've seen this year when he played the slot and had more positives than negatives so thats a plus.

Agreed!
He made an awesome play however he's been burned almost every time he's been targeted. I remember going into the Chargers game he gave up 16 out of 16 passes in his coverage. I'm sure he's improving but damn!

He's a FS not a slot but I guess we will eventually play Womack there next year. Also, a fun fact. Jimmie has Never got 2 ints in a year from more than one game.

if Huf continues to blow coverage once every game or two, Jimmy might be back at safety
Probably Jimmy Wards best game hes played when hes in the slot. I was right in another thread stating that if Brady was watching film he'll probably target Wards slot coverage alot and he did. Luckily for us Jimmy played better today than he usually did in the slot.
Dude balled out yesterday. I hope we try to resign him.

I thought I seen him beat quite a bit but passes were horrible. I know that pass to Evans behind him was Ward beat like a drum. Could of swore there were more plays just like that where Jimmie was spared by a bad pass or no pass altogether.
