At the beginning of the interview, I couldn't hear the question...Ward's response was "If the 49ers have another winning season, he's as good as gone". Who was he talking about?

About his own status he said, "At the end of the day its business." Definitely sounded like it would be a decision based on how big the paycheck is.

Maybe give him a Ricardo Allen type deal...3 yrs $19.5M He's got 2 INTS in 6 yrs and we all know about his injuries

Super bowl winning teams always have players get signed for way more than they are worth though. Not saying you are wrong but we've all seen it happen where a team wins the bowl and they have free agents getting payed.

Yep. Look at Malcolm Smith in Seattle. Dude was a fairly minor part of their success and he got PAID. Someome will roll the dice on Ward having gotten past his injury issues. At which point, safety would become the 49ers #1 draft priority.

I mean what do you think he's worth and what do you think he will get if SF wins the SB?

I think there's a little more that goes into signing a dude outside of if he played on a SB team. Health and his individual play matter much more when you're talking about a guy getting $40M vs $20M.

He's got next to nothing in INTs throughout his career, zero pro-bowls, and has only started in 44 of a possible 96 games so far. IF he wants outranges money best of luck. Even something like Tashaun Gipson got this yr 3yrs $22.5M would be about the limit IMO.
