He's actually played in 51 games in his career. When I saw that, I had to check to make sure he wasn't a 15 year pro.

Can anyone give an objective breakdown of his FS play towards the end of last year. I'd be curious to see WTF our coaching staff is seeing that leads to this much faith being placed in him...again.

I don't know how many but about half the games he's available. I was really hoping to get someone we can count on, not that I think he's the worst player ever, he's pretty solid.

Ward has incriminating photos of someone high up in the 49er organization. We've seen this club spend a lot of money on guys with low return, but have we every seen such a player being retained time after time? Fine if you want to keep him as a backup, but why 5 mil? Who the hell would have paid him 5 mil? He's average at best when he does play.

No cause he was out with injury.
I checked his box score and it says he didn't break up a pass all year...is that right?
I do remember one against the Chargers but Williams made an impossible catch reaching his hands behind Ward.

LOL I thought you were giving him too much credit...I say he plays 7 snaps before he gets hurt again (in practice)
Tre Boston and Ha Ha Clinton Dix still available and quite a few good ones in the draft...Ward needs to go already.
