That was a great deal, If I remember correctly only Minnesota offered a pick besides us, and it was a 7th rd pick. I was surprised that Baltimore dealt him for such a low pick, but then I get it, they wanted cap relief.
Not saying Baalke is a terrible GM, he is very good, but he is far from the best in the NFL, he has made some bad deals too. Rogers was a bad re-signing for that much. He has learned tho, not giving Cully $8M a yr, or Iupati $8M a yr. I also think he overspent on Pears. Wright got way way too much from us on a 1yr deal, and even though that was the market, doesn't mean you have to spend foolishly. Not sold on Dockett being 100%, might be a 1yr guy IMO. Bush was a solid signing $$$ wise, not a big fan of him being a featured back, but that is because I never viewd him as a great back out of USC.
He has also had some questionable picks, Ward in the 1st rd over Roby? AJJ over Jeffrery? The entire 2012 draft was horrible. Letting Cooper go for NNamdi was horrible, Nnamdi was terrible in preseason.
Whlie I think Baalke has good a good job, he is far from great IMO.
