NFL Week 17 Games Thread

I didn't see a thread on here but there's a lot of interesting games this week, in both conferences. In the AFC, you have four teams that can secure the last spot in the playoffs and none of them controls their own destiny. Baltimore, Miami, San Diego and Pittsburgh all have varying chances of getting in to the playoffs. In the NFC, there's two "winner takes all" games with Green Bay vs Chicago and Dallas vs Philly. Of course there are also the games that can shift the top of the standings in the NFC with Seattle facing off against the Rams, a team that has been a tough opponent for them in recent years and Carolina taking on a suddenly explosive Falcons team.

I bet that the cowboys will win tonight. I have no analysis to back up my claim-just a hunch.



edit: I don't wanna make this into a cowboy thread, but what happens if their back up QB gets them far in the playoffs? Is romo's job safe?

So wait, if the dolphins win, they're in, right? If this is true, why are so many idiots are picking the Ravens to make the last wild card slot? The Ravens are on the road, facing a superior opponent, and their opponent has something to play for.

It also doesn't help the Ravens that the Dolphins will be playing the Jets today, a team that is already eliminated from the playoffs thus have nothing to play for and Miami will come out swinging to clench their spot (plus, Miami already stomped them @ MetLife earlier this year, should be an easy win for them). Maybe next year Baltimore!

Trying to get pumped up for these early games but just can't...

my eyes are glued today. I want the Ravens to lose bad.

I would love to see:

Atlanta take down Carolina.

Rams to bust up the Seahawks.
