If we let Boldin go... the Seahawks will sign him and that will be the worst thing ever!

I think we have a good chance at keeping him. All free agents want to get paid, but Boldin is at the point in his career where he wants to win more than anything else. His list of suitors will only include championship contenders. We're one of those teams, and as long as we're in the same ballpark in regards to salary, we should keep him.

Resign him!
I think they are interested, but the typical question is "for how much?" Ideally, we would re-sign him for a 1 year deal in the 3 mil range... but would Boldin be good with this?

dude is a stud, i think he will get 5mil easily. sign him for 2-3 years, extend crabs and draft a few receivers in the top end of the draft and were good for a decade once those rooks are coached up by boldin and crabs

I think myself Id LOVE to see the Niners extend him another year or 2 with a healthy Crabtree I think they could cause some problems for other teams then you toss in V Davis and you have some serious pass catching threats that would relive some of the 8 man boxes and then you cut F Gore loose.

What do you all think should or will the Niners Keep Boldin?

plus boldin is in better shape than dudes 10 years younger. hes a gym rat and keeps himself in top shape. i dont see him being less productive for a while. still got a few elite years left
I wouldn't say that he is elite but in an environment where he can succeed he can be very very effective. He isn't fast but knows how to get open with crisp routes and use of his body. He's a smart player who knows how to read a defense like a seasoned QB. What he is, is a godsend to a young QB. With a Crabtree across from him he is very very dangerous and must be respected. The 49ers are now armed with a guy who can get open every down, a guy who runs very well after the catch and a TE who can take the top off a defense. Right there is a lot for a set of safeties to worry about. I'd love to play Carolina again with a healthy Mike Crabtree. It would be a much different game in my opinion.

As far as Boldin goes, I think if they give him a fair offer he will jump at the opportunity to stay with a winner and keep playing Seattle twice a year as he seems to not like them very much.

hes gonna clear 1000 this week and still has more games to be played and he did it with being double teamed every game this year. Id consider that elite or atleast top tier. I cant think of 5 guys who are better than him considering the coverages hes faced and how off kap has been this year. and he doesnt drop anything, blocks like a TE. boldin is the man
Boldin is a guy you cant let walk if he's asking for a reasonable amount. Only down fall in his game is he speed and he still manages to get open and a few yards after the catch. The man is a true competitor, doesnt take plays, one of the best blocking WR in the game, Tough as they come(any of yall remember when he played with the broken jaw after that game he took that monstrous hit to the head?) He is exactly what a football is suppose to be. PAY THE MAN!!!
Imo, I think we need to do what we can to keep him. I don't think Boldin will demand too much, he probably likes it here in the Bay and what this team is about. At this point in his career, he probably wants to remain with a winner and get another shot at a ring and we are definitely in the position to send him out the right way.

Boldin is easily one of our team MVPs this year, he should be a top priority to resign for at least 2 more years. Kap has also developed a great chemistry with him and Boldin is probably, at this point, a big part of Kap's own development as a QB.
I don't care how much he asks for you have to pay the man! When's the last time we hit on a FA WR?
Can't let this man walk away. He must be given an extension, would hate to see him in any colors besides red and gold, and he broke the curse of 81.
