So who have we lost for the playoffs?
Chris Culliver - is almost a starter since we play nickel so much
Ian Williams - Starting NT
Bruce Miller - Starting FB
We also lost the following for a considerable amount of time:
Michael Crabtree
Iupati
Key players that missed portions of games:
Staley
Reid
Vernon Davis

Other teams would have folded in situations like this but not us 11-4

We have good depth... guys like Lemonier, Dorsey, Brock, Skuta, Reid, Miller (until injured), Wilhoit... there isn't a precipitous drop off when our subs get in. We can still pull off a victory.
I do think we've been pretty lucky to withstand our tough schedule with RELATIVELY few injures. But that can be said for each year Harbaugh was here. The one year it bit us was 2011 with our WR corp.

The LAST group of fans that should be complaining about getting breaks is Seahawks fans.

Yeah, the OP got trashed thoroughly in that thread. One persons reply said it perfectly ...
It really is a testament to his greatness when all of us who are making a case for Montana aren't even 49ers fans. When a player is so great that he transcends rival fan conflict then you know this player is a true legend in every sense of the word. It's an honor reserved for very few in sports. He's part of the Jordan/Gretzky/Ruth echelon...

Yup. There are people always going to stir the pot about this topic but most people know Montana played in a not-so QB friendly era and didn't have the benefits of video taping like Brady did.
Nobody will ever be 4-0 in a super bowl with 3 MVPs in which he won two of those with some average talent around him.

Eh...check the ages on those profiles. I bet it is pretty telling.
