In Goodell's wisdom to find a way to stop the DUI epidemic he has turned to Alcor and Cryonics. His reasoning is if a player has multiple DUI's the best solution is to keep him on ice until the next game. Goodell states the integrity of the game is kept to the highest standards and the NFL image will be bolstered in the long run.

He was forced into retirement because no one wanted him. He had a disappointing career as a starter and tried to lobby himself as a special teams demon to get a contract and he's at home on the couch. He's just trying to keep his name on NFL.com's news feed
