He's one of the only QBs available that's been in Kyle's system. And he's not terrible. It's not like we can trade for someone.

I just hope he doesn't take over Tolzien's spot on the roster.

Somebody has to run the scout team now that Purdy is the starting QB

Since he is still in the league, he has to have something that is keeping him around...

Maybe he is just a REALLY good scout QB in practice.

But he's not actually terrible. He's gotten better over the years. The only two games he played last year were really good. There's worse starters right now playing.

Josh Johnson is a washed up, Can't Kyle and John do better then a 36 yr old who has been on like 18 different teams and been released everytime tell you something. Heck Kyle has released him 3 times already. We need someone at least good enough to give us a chance to get to the playoffs!! Call Drew Brees and see if he would come back for the stretch run, or trade a middle round pick for another teams QB who has no chance to make the playoffs. Heck if Easton has had enough time to learn the playback on the practice squad bring him up and keep trying to make a deal in the mean time!! I like Purdy alot ever since I saw him play in the preseason and wish and hope he turns out to be the real deal! Go Niners 🇺🇸
