I forget, but to get arrested for domestic violence, there needs to be visible injuries right?
I know you can get charged without visible injuries. But I thought to be arrested, something would need to be visible.
Either way, I've defended Ray on here before...and I still believe he is innocent in this. But no excuse to visit this psycho. Even if she has your child and she threatens him/her. Let the police show up there and pray for the best.
do not go anywhere near her.
He seems to have loving parents. I feel bad for them. They shouldn't be too hard on themselves. Some people never learn.
at least Ray has his money. He needs to just spend wisely, pay his child support, and live off that for as long as he can. Doubt any job will open up for him anytime soon. Be it playing or high school coaching.

what do you think he did? do you think he hit her while she was holding
his baby?
do you think he pushed her, while she was holding his baby..
with the chance that she might drop his baby?

He probably didn't do anything..and she could have have called the cops after he left for not staying the night...who knows
That's how crazy his relationship is ...he should have just left her totally and let the courts handle the arrangements

Good job by our higher ups to let him go.
I thought it was a huge mistake because he IS a good football player.
Turned out it was a smart move by the niners brass. Good job.

He was the one having all the parties and getting a lot of the other guys on our team to party. Probably what got aldon started. A lot of the guys on the team started to get an ego after 2011 and started to party and get into trouble. I get the feeling our attitude and the off the field problems/stuff we said probably cost us a championship or 2. Brooks with his bad attitude needs to be next. We need to weed those guys out. Hopefully when they are gone aldon doesnt have any bad influences anymore although its all on him to man up and mature especially since he has a kid now.

Like most I've always believed it's incredibly stupid when a group of fans volunteer funds to cover an allegedly unjust fine on a player, like Hawk fans for Lynch or Patriot fans for Brady . . . but if I came across a gofundme page to finance McDonald's moving expenses back to Florida I'd be good for $50.00

a women saying he touched me could get him arrested. And if police are called they will usually arrest someone if there was any suspicion of a domestic disturbance.

Where are all the posters that said we should sign him back and that he should not have been released after the second incident? The front office knew what they were doing and what road RayMac was going down. I don't blame the team for releasing him. this probably costs him a job in the NFL even if he is cleared. Too many red flags now that no other team will touch him. Fangio must be crying he lost his toy.

It was certainly the right move to get rid of him. He is a world class idiot.

right here.
this is clearly a case of PTSD. The 49ers played judge and executioner after he was falsely accused. Clearly had an effect on his mental state. I'm sure his lawyer will be contacting the 49ers very soon.

First incident: Altercation with pregnant fiancee. Best case scenario for Ray - She was raging at him and he was physically restraining her so she wouldn't hurt herself, the baby, or others; Worst case - He physically assaulted her in some way due to alcohol, stupidity, or a combination therein. Analysis: We all knew, and said, that if he hit her then he should be held accountable to the full extent of the law, but he didn't have the history. If he was innocent, he deserved to keep his job and work through it. When she did not participate in the investigation, we were relieved.
Second incident: Accused of sexually assaulting another woman. Best case scenario for Ray - He was celebrating/mourning the end of his engagement and brought a woman back to his place. They drank, they copulated, and she either saw a chance to cash in or she was embarrassed by her own actions. Who amongst us hasn't made a bad decision of the sexual variety while intoxicated? I mean, I went to college... Worst case - Ray parties too hard and knowingly takes advantage of a woman who is too drunk to offer consent. He may have even invited/allowed Ahmad Brooks to get in on it. Analysis: Seriously, I wasn't even that big of a partier in my youth, but I definitely woke up next to someone and had to fill in the puzzle of regret. The timing of this incident sucked, but we weren't convinced he Ray was a bad guy. Still, rape allegations are a huge red flag for his life style choices.
Third incident: Domestic violence against a woman holding a baby. Best case scenario for Ray - Seriously dude. This is getting tough. "Best case" was that Ray was out drinking and was stewing over the money he was paying for the apartment this woman and their baby were living in. He was probably drinking somewhere close and decided he was going to sleep there for the night. I mean, it's his damn place anyway (drunken logic). He goes in, probably makes noise, wakes her up, and they get to arguing. She threatens to call the cops because he is being a dick, so he tries to keep her from the phone. He realizes he is about to get into trouble, so he books it out of there. Worst case - We could get pretty dark with speculation. Anything from him going over there to force himself on her to him wanting to physically hurt her and her baby for ruining his career. Analysis: No matter what the reasoning, going over there at 3:48 am was a bad call. My wife and I have a great relationship and I am a kick ass dad, but if I came stumbling home at 3:48 am, I'm in deep deep cow excrement.
If we assume the worst case scenario for each of these incidents are true, then Ray McDonald deserves to be behind bars for the next decade or so.
If we assume the best case scenario of each is true, then he is less a villain and more just a moron. This is what I think of all this. He's not some evil psychopath. He is just an idiot with a really screwed up personal life. And unfortunately for him, his inability to maintain a stable home life just cost him his career.
