I just discovered i dont lIke watching the NFL as much as i used to. That defenseless reciever rule is one of the reasons why. And i hate pass happy offenses like the Saints. I have never watched the Arena league or the CFL for that very reason. Goodell is slowly killing the league.

I hope so!

Willis does have a pretty impressive number of passes defensed this season. He's got CB numbers. 14th in the NFL with 13 according to NFL.com... every player with more is a CB.

exactly.

Welp, it's official. The New York Giants are not a playoff caliber team.

If you can't beat playoff bound teams, you don't belong in the playoffs.

It's b******t.

The only way to make it work would be to have the penalty be reviewable... and that would still suck big donkey schlong.

the Saints are crazy good at home, and the Giants stink in the second half of the season, always. The Gints are in the midst of a brutal schedule but seem to be getting worse every week instead of rising to the challenge.

these f*ggots are going to let the god damned Dallas Cowboys make the playoffs.

...oh well, we'll take the Cowboys, then the Packers, then the Ravens in the 49ers Championship March of Revenge.

they need to make some calls simpler, like "what is a catch" and "what is a TD", etc. Those need to be "eyeball calls." If it looks like a catch, its a catch. The rules are much too complicated in certain situations.

and i know i've said this a million times tonight, but there is no excuse for not having professional refs. its silly that the most lucrative sport in the country has part-time hobbyists deciding games.

The Giants are another team that the 49ers have sent into a downward spiral after playing us.

Eagles, Lions, Giants

Don't forget the Bucs. When they played against the 49ers, the Bucs were 3-1.

LOL. New Orleans is a GREAT team at home and they had an extra week to prepare. Making any judgement on tonights game is silly. This is a team that beat the Patriots just a few weeks ago and came within an inch of coming back from 2 TDS against the Niners in the 4th QT. Oh one last thing.. they have played 3 playoff bound teams and had to face each one on the road. Beating NE, barely losing to the Niners, and getting whipped in NO isnt all that bad.

I actually dont think they WILL make the playoffs by the way. They will lose to GB most likely next week and will be 6-6. I just think saying they dont belong in the playoffs because they cant beat playoff bound teams is ridiculous.
