At the end of the day the man lines up under center. dilfer needs to stfu lol he found one highlight where a roughing the qb didnt get called. they are gonna blow calls from time to time but Vick has defonatelt been getting hit late. LMAO Brady's knee got smashed illegal style by San Diego's Antonio Garay last week and he didn't get a flag either. This is football, guys get hit and that's the defenses job. Our own Alex Smith gets hit way more than Vick, who lead the NFC East in roughing the passer penalties or whatever last year. Vick needs to stop b***hing and get the ball out faster, or call out his OLine. MOst of those hits on Vick are 100% legal btw.

Just as I said all along, he simply isn't that good. His whole career has been these arcs of a few good games and everyone says "he gets it". Then defenses adjust and he goes back to throwing picks and being inaccurate. Now he's just making excuses for his poor decision making.

There is no question that Vick doesn't get many of the calls Brady and Manning get. This doesn't mean that Brady gets every call - not to mention he also get phantom calls. Plus, Brady complains to the refs during the game very often when he gets hit. So, I don't see the big deal.

...and saying that Vick leads the NFC East in gettin' the rougher the passer penalty doesn't mean anything. If your QB stays in the pocket all the time, he is more protected as Steve Young said. Romo, Rex, and Eli don't exactly run out of pocket often, thus less likely to get hit. Vick shouldn't be punished for leaving the pocket - and that's his point. If he is throwing the ball, he is a QB and those same rules apply to him - whether he is in the pocket or outside. Similar thing happens with Alex Smith...! Refs need to do a better job and call the game consistently.

I remember Steve Young gettin' hit ridiculously late on many occasions.
