What was most frustrating this game?

Alex played alright, especially considering how our running game was nonexistent again.

Hunter better get some touches next week. We need some more on offense and Frank looks very mediocre right now.
lack of vertical passing game
The defense.
I had a bad feeling all week that when the game was over, the story would be about Romo coming up big in the clutch. Then helplessly watching that story unfold.
Frank Gore's lack of production has me frustrated. This team depends heavily on the running game and will struggle to win games running like this.

This. The coaches have no confidence in Alex. If you are trying to protect the guy from making a mistake, that's the same thing as a vote of no confidence. With no passing game, no run game will open up. This is the bane of our existence.
The lack of the word "about"
Alex had a very good first half and a very bad second half. Even Brady would have failed with that OLine and playcalling.

The major frustrations for me:

A). Terrible OLine play. They didn't pass block well, they didn't run block well - THEY SUCKED!

B). Playcalling on both sides of the ball, primarily the offense. It was way too Raye-esque. Can Gore throw an option pass? I'm not sure if not having Edwards and Crabs had anything to do with the playcalling but I doubt it. I knew what they plays were before they happened. Sooner or late JH is going to have to gamble.

Kyle WR played well and needs more touches.

The line is a disaster. I don't know if there is a fix for that. It's a scary thought.

Making Vernon Davis block all game instead of getting using him as a weapon to open things up.What the hell happened to VD up the middle in the redzone?
O-Line and secondary. My goodness that was so incredibly pathetic... I haven't seen opposing WRs SO wide open ALL game, ever! I mean, there were times on 3rd and long where the WR was open by like 3 yards on all sides. How do you expect to compete like that?

And the O-Line, damn. The game was played in our backfield all game.

On that point, how many missed tackles did we have in THEIR backfield? I mean, literally, 3 or 4 times we missed their RBs or QB 4 or 5 yards behind the LOS. That was extremely frustrating to see.
