Who is the 2nd best WR ever?

Of the modern era (that takes away Hutson...), honestly it would be Terrell Owens. He has already statistically surpassed all the others on that list.. and he's still not done. Guy could play until he's 40. Owens will without question be a first-ballot hall of famer. No homerism at all, just a straight up fact.

I think Harrison, then Bruce. I also liked Tim Brown a lot. I never saw Monk, so Im not familiar with him.

And sorry. T.O. and Moss shouldnt be anywhere near top 5-7, but just my opinion. And what about Steve Largent?

Just to add -- Owens is the active TD reception leader, and 2nd all time behind Jerry Rice. Also is 2nd all time in receiving yards.

Owens also needs only 25 catches to move into 2nd all time in receptions behind Jerry Rice. Folks.. I think if Owens becomes 2nd all time in TDs, receptions, and receiving yards.. How is anyone going to say there isn't even an argument for him being the 2nd best all time?

Randy Moss is the only one close to Owens' production, trailing Owens by 1000 yards receiving, and is tied with Owens in TDs.

The other WRs in this poll are all pretty great, but they only really represent one era--the era of the WR. Talent wise he is. But he left so much on the table. He only plays when he wants to play.

With Moss and T.O, they were never truly unstoppable IMO like Jerry was, so if they are in consideration for #2, then jerry must be on the biggest mountaintop ahead of them, so, so far apart.

Moss was unstoppable when he wants to be. He just plays when he wants to play. That was his downfall.

Terrell Owens

I have to say that I am suprised at some of those amazing stats, I know T.O. is a great player but I think some of his "off-field" issues really take away from how great he really has been during his career. It's sad that most people will remember him more for his controversies and antics rather than his HOF numbers. I believe he will be a HOF, but most people probably don't realize how dominant he has been on the field.
