And in his third year it looks like its real ugly out there. Khalil Mack, a team captain literally shrugs publicly when asked about what Harbs said in the locker room at halftime because he "blanked out" and was thinking about the game. Like holy crap, ever seen a vet captain say something like this about the coach ?
Its getting real bad and the worst thing is, I doubt Harbs get fired anytime soon because of his contract.
Hes gonna get his 4th year no matter how this season goes. Then the question for the Chargers becomes even if he makes playoffs in year 4 do you want to extend a turning 65 year old coach who doesn't like change long term. He'd probably have to make the AFC title game for them to even consider it.
