Is he going to Detroit or is he going to the Raiders? He wont go to the Jags. He wants power, leverage and to be hailed as a God. I can see that happening in the first two places, not the latter.

He will use it as leverage to get a new long term deal at Michigan. For more money. He will get it too.

What part of "record" was unclear? His win/loss record is amazing. Thats undeniable.

Not in college it isn't.

Yup. The year he took over was the lock out year and he didn't even have a full offseason. Still went to the NFCC.

The most impressive part is he was he went that far with Alex Smith and Kaepernick, two average at best QBs. Before JH, Alex Smith was on his way out onto another team's backup QB role before JH took him back and saved his career.

Perhaps he shouldn't have handpicked average qbs?

Alex improved substantially under Andy Reid and was much better than average.

His record in actual Championship games still shows as winless. You play to win Championships, there is no ribbon or medal or parades for regular season wins.

Jim Harbaugh has proven he knows how to finish in the bedroom but can't seem to ever finish on the football field.

Turning around Stanford was unbelievable
Turning around the Niners ( and getting Little Jed outta the picture ) was amazing ( Jed got his revenge with the Tomsula hire )
taking an unranked Michigan team to the final four..wow

If this is the case then why is KS this god like coach around here? Haven't won s**t with him AND his W/L record is substantially worse. At least with JH we were always an elite team. I'll never forgive Jed for the dumb s**t he pulled with JH.

He will always be remembered as an awesome coach of the 49ers.

Lol you must be new around here.
I been a Niners fan long enough before you were born my friend. Bill Walsh, Joe Montana, Dwight Clark, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Eddie D…you name it…

Jim Harbaugh is awesome, don't care what the naysayers think. All the coaches after the demise of Steve Mariucci sucked until Harbaugh was hired. And the Jim Tomsula hire after letting go of Harbaugh?? What a disappointment….Fxxx JY

Harbaugh took a mediocre to poor team and turned it into a championship contender in a few years. The same as he has done at multiple college programs and in the NFL. He has done that with every head coaching job he has ever been given. There are a few coaches who have done it in college but couldn't do it in the NFL including Nick Saban.

Assuming that you are including the Niners in this, no he didn't. He took a team with a very good roster which was struggling under appalling coaching, and kick started them. No way could you call that team either mediocre or poor. Check out the roster.

They were garbage under Singletary. Coaching lifted them up.

Because Singletary was garbage. The roster was solid.

Not all that different than being 4-10 against Michigan State and Ohio State and 3-13 vs top 10 teams.
