Just reading and they are saying no vote is scheduled or certain for Monday. So we will see I guess. I for one am not going to get my hopes up only for the NFLPA to say they are under no timeline to vote.

Just read the same. I sort of feel the same way. Tempering my expectations until sht is actually signed

This is the s**t I said a couple of pages back, just when it gets good, you get the "we have no meeting/plan for a vote Monday" type of s**t.

I really don't understand why they would not vote on Monday, they have been talking all through the weekend, and I think they have shown their point that they were not happy with how the owner's announced their agreement on Thursday. Can they still be that far away on those "small issues"?

I really hope the season starts on Wednesday and we do not have to miss any more preseason games which will be very important this season with the lack of OTA's and team gatherings.

Here is the thing. It says the executive committee will recommend accepting the deal. The players than have to vote. Maybe they decide to take their time.

Ocho seems to think this is all media hype again. Problem is Ocho, is what else could the players be waiting for. If all the points have been negotiated then the only reason the players hold off voting is that they want to miss preseason.
I honestly won't pay much attention to Ocho, he's a pouty baby who's still angry (amongst a smaller core of the players) about the shifty dealings on Thursday.

Problem is..you're using chad johnson to prove your point
So wait, is that s**t still going down where guys like Willis (players with 3-years left on their established contracts) will automatically become free-agents (out-of-nowhere), or did both sides this mend this crap up within the latest draft of the CBA?

Yeah that's what I'm trying to figure out, I cannot remember the precise stipulation, but I remember even Willis being within some range of danger of this absurd free-agency market rumor at the time.

That was never ever the case. Those players under contract are under contract. Regardless of the CBA they have a contract with the team, not the league.

Any player currently singed to a long term contract will remain so.

Any player that was previously going to be a RFA is now going to be a FA. Thats the only group of players affected.
Watching NFL Network, Breaking news says that Drew Brees sent e-mail to teammates that deal is done, can't wait till tomorrow!!!!!!
