So really, there's a good chance by tomorrow morning (before the Owner's Meeting begins) the players/reps will have voted and passed the new 'deal' on their end, and all will work out.

Depends on the settlement case first...BUT I will echo your statement...

the players already voted and they passed it

And I think the 'doors will be open for business' on Sunday with Monday through Thursday being the time to sign in-house FAs and Friday next week starts July Madness

Yeah, it's back to the plaintiffs (who black-balled it yesterday; with those alleged rumors of wanting individual money settlements/no franchise-tags for the rest of their career).

That's what I meant in saying settlement case.....

With that said....I think EVERYTHING happens tomorrow...
Guess the players were just posturing today. Hopefully this just gets done tomorrow then.

Bottom line: The structure of the league going forward has been negotiated and set, but this one's not over til those lawsuits die.

A source close to the talks tells me, "No global settlement, no CBA. No CBA, the lockout continues."Players may be splitting CBA, settlement

It means The settlement will hopefully be resolved tomorrow, and then the owners and players will both ratify it and get it done TOMORROW.

If these "reporters" would just shut up with these arbitrary deadlines and expected agreement dates, people wouldn't be up in arms as much with nothing significant missed.
