Moss, TO, Harrison

Bruce.

Lloyd.

O-line is the tough part....

G - Hutchinson
C - Mawae? Kreutz? Newberry?
G - Allen
we're talking about 00-09 right?
i'd like to give my 2 cents...

Manning is the better pure passer, Brady has been more clutch. I think Brady's rings also came from just having a better team than Manning, so i think trying to compare their SB's are a moot point.

i dont think any would argue about Tony Gonzales being in this tho...
For defense:

LB - Ray Lewis
FS - Ed Reed
CB - Champ Bailey
SS - Brian Dawkins

Brady had better talent on Defense.
Manning had better talent on Offense.

but what else can you go by if not SB's?

win %
Brady - 78.4%
Manning - 66.5%
...but then again you can argue, that's a team stat.

QB rating
Manning - 94.9
Brady - 92.5
...but you can argue that that's a product of having better receivers.

but yeah, Tony G is a lock IMO.
Yep 00-09 folks, so this year counts too, I suppose we will have the final version ready by the end of the year.
DE's, i like Peppers and Freeney....

but of course there are a lot of other STRONG candidates: Michael Strahan, Jason Taylor....... what do you think?

OLB - Ware is a lock IMO. Joey Porter off the top of my head as the other??? dunno.

Polamalu vs. Dawkins should also be debated for SS also IMO......... don't forget John Lynch

the other CB spot..... Asomugha, Cromarte?

FB - Lorenzo Neal

Special Teams:
Kicker - Vinatieri
KR/PR - Hester
Punter....... f*ck it throw in Andy Lee.

HC - Billicheck (?sp?).... or if you wanna take that whole cheating thing into account.... then......Bill Cowher.

but i think manning has shown he can be great without great WRs. thaty year )2 years ago?) when most of his were injured.
then when tom went down the patriotes barely missed a beat.
^^yeah but Brady won his superbowls without Moss and Welker.......

when he won his 1st in 01, He took over a team that was at the time 0-2 and went 5-11 the year before.

Anyway here is my top 5 QBs of this decade

Peyton Manning IND
Tom Brady NE
Drew Brees SD, NO
Kurt Warner STL, NYG, ARI
Rich Gannon OAK

RB's is even tougher. Too bad not one great RB of the decade has any Rings...what does that tell you?

I guess it would be Tomlinson?
LaDainian Tomlinson
Edgerrin James
Tiki Barber
Ahman Green
Marshall Faulk

Marshall Faulk doesn't have a ring?

technically that Ring belongs in the 90's, anyway the main point was to show that it has been a long time since an elite RB has won the Super Bowl

are you serious!!!!!
Brady hands down bar none. Dumb question to even ask. And as a 9er fan you should know why, SB Rings

So you'd take Troy Aikman over Steve Young?

...are implying you'd take Dan Marino over Joe Montana???
I'd take Adrian Peterson over Edge James, even with AP's short career thus far. Edge had a ton of o-line help.
OT - Orlando Pace, Walter Jones
RE - Dwight Freeney
LE - Michael Strahan
RB - Obviously LT
RB - Would def. take Portis over Edge James, Portis has been more consistent this decade. I also think Shaun Alexander deserves consideration because he was such a beast.
