Who Were Your "Pound the Table" Guys? Hits and Misses? | Page 2

List off a few you would've vouched hard for in this class, as well as previous classes. Always fun to come back and see if you had a home run pick, or a big whiff. We've all had our share over the years! This year, these were my guys that I felt for sure would be successful pros if they stayed healthy: 1) Jacob Rodriguez, LB 2) Logan Jones, C 3) Oscar Delp, TE 4) Germie Bernard, WR Didn't have time in 2025, but my 2024 guys were C Zach Frazier, CB Mike Sainristil, DT Byron Murphy and DT Braden Fiske 2021: I was screaming for OL Creed Humphrey and Quinn Meinerz. Misses over the years: Wasn't sold on Cooper DeJean at corner, and I thought Kingsley in Kc would be much better. And I thought Reuben Foster and Solomon Thomas would be better pros. Thomas actually changed the way I looked at edge and tweener prospects going forward.

I wasn't in love with anyone this year simply because of how low we were picking and I felt we had a ton of needs. The guy I really wanted to get to us was Dillon Thieneman tho. Later rounds I'd say Landon Robinson.

Curious what made you intrigued by Solomon Thomas? I saw him as a solid athletic player, but felt like too much of a tweener. I did hear light aaron donald comparisons but even back then I knew there would be no one like Aaron Donald.

I was annoying and telling everyone that Patrick Mahomes had one of the highest potentials I have ever seen and was really hoping Kyle saw his film like I did and either said f**k it and draft him at 3 or trade down for him. It sucks that he was the result of our 2 super bowl losses or I would be one of his bigger fans.
