That would be a solid B+ draft. I am genuinely curious if we would have shocked everyone with a Jadarian Price pick at #33 or #58 if SEA didn't take him. The fact that we picked Black makes me think how could Price have not been on our radar.

Anyways, after further thought and reordering in my mind #90 and #107 (meaning we picked Halton at #90 and Black at #107) I'll give this draft a C-. Halton at #90 and Black at #107 and I think the perception is fine all of the sudden and we are only scratching our heads at taking Stribling so early and not trading down to again in the 2nd rd to easily pick him and pick up other draft picks.

Also, I ask myself would I have been happier if we drafted Boston at #33 just because of perception of him being one of the top WRs? For me I actually prefer Stribling to Boston so I'm going to resolve myself to being ok with this pick as I do like the player and he is a complete clone of Jauan Jennings but way faster by a large 0.4 seconds faster in the 40. He even runs like Jennings and never drops the ball. Hope he gets on the field a good amount this year.

Pretending Black was drafted at #107 makes me immediately like him more lol. Outside of Price and Love he is the safest RB in this draft so holding out hope he is not a Sermon or TDP and can/will contribute.

I really like how our DL is now set up for this year with the addition of Height and Halton who are both pass rushers.

I really don't like how we didn't get a top ball-hawking FS. I am also genuinely curious if we were targeting Bud Clark at #70 at FS and then Height/Barham at #90 at EDGE. Obv SEA took him right before we got to 70. If we stood pat at #58 ...

Cant grade harsher, because they didn't take any players i dont like. But they also didn't operate in a way that I feel would have optimized our draft.

I still stand by something drastic needs to change.

I see teams like Seattle who can actually win Super Bowls get potentially better. I see us trading back for 2 total picks in the first 90 picks. I just don't feel this team got any better.

... and it will remain this way as long as we got Lynch and Shanny side by side.

This draft doesn't say rebuild but it also doesnt signal a superbowl contender. It almost feels like they were winging it and we'll just end up with a bunch of role players out of this draft...

2026 Draft reminds me so much of 1996 Draft...

thanks to Terrell Owens, he turned that draft grade from a solid F to a solid D.

Certainly not expecting a cornerstone player out of this bunch. But we shall see.

In 3 years they are going to be 28 years old

I'm fine with this class except for 1 pick. When they selected Black the pick should've been TCU safety Bud Clark. I'm fine with Stribling at 33 because I don't think he makes it to 58. Now you could trade down but I don't know those offers. It's almost impossible to grade these things after 1 day.

I liked all the picks but RB.

The real issue I had was no S that was a major need going into the offseason and it wasnt addressed. I get its a low priority position but having a strong S group elevates the entire defense and helps with TO

That being said i think our WR room is strong and we have a legitimate deep threat who is big fast and doesnt drop the ball and most importantly i am super hyped about our DL

i would give it a C+ although grades now are meaningless
