While I wouldn't hate the EMW pick, I don't see him as some multi leveled can play anywhere type of S. I think he would have a similar role to Mustapha.
Not sure why people keep comping him to Emmanwori, NW has like 20lbs on him and is vastly more athletic. I want that rangy FS who can cover. Stukes or Clark make more sense imo.

this is Lance's overview of him
"Overview
Long, downhill safety capable of bolstering a team's run defense and playing enforcer over the middle. McNeil-Warren is most valuable when playing near the line of scrimmage or in robber positioning. He anticipates well in coverage and is quick to close on receivers but will need to be protected by scheme to prevent speed mismatches. He's urgent in run support and has a feel for slipping blocks/meeting runners early in the carry. He's a rangy tackler, but needs to quiet his feet when diagnosing and flowing downhill to tackle. McNeil-Warren might be pigeon-holed schematically but he's good at his job."
Nice, thanks for the info NY. I can see the redundancy their with MM. Also, it sucks that Emmanwori is so good that we are all clamoring to get his clone, (whichever player that is, if he exists.)
Yes, I've read that elsewhere to. While he would be an upgrade over Mustapha it would not be major. The fact you see some say he's schematically limited and needs protection in coverage is what makes me look elsewhere given the current state of our roster. If there was a player who's a ball hawk and noted coverage safety, now that's a massive upgrade because Mustapha and Brown suck at coverage. AJ Haulcey maybe? He might be there at 58.
I would rather they address the o-line or edge. If not trenches then I like Jacob Rodriguez. Of course, WR if they like Boston enough etc.
There's all kinds of good S still in the board. I'm gonna see if someone wants give up something meaningful to go up and get him. I'm not talking a 5th of late 4th. You want your dude I want a 3rd.
maybe the raiders feel the need to get Boston/EMW or something else. Still in range to get a guy and get a little more capital for more flexibility.
I want to leave this rd with 3 early contributors.

I think the Bills really want Rodriguez and if someone wants him they gotta move above them.
I agree, but where I differ in thought is that Greenlaw never stays healthy and Rodriguez looks insane. He would buffer Greenlaw and Warner against injury and can also blitz so they can find ways to work him in. I find him more versatile than EMW in this regard. I see him as the more BPA than Nick at 33. (also noted Safety is deep, there are good cover guys we can get in the 4th)
I also agree on a trade down. If I am lynch I say gamble and tell them, give me a 4 or 5 and next years 1, then 33 is yours.
Regardless they should fine a solid contributor if they stay put and the logical choice is pass rush or o-line.
