This is what I think too.

Another trade would be great as long as we pick the right guys. Would also be good if we could get some 2027 picks as well.

Howell or EMW with 33 or trade it to Miami/Cleveland for next year's first.

I can see someone giving us a 1st. If not, please only go down a few spots.

I think this is the likely outcome. Some team is gonna offer a trade to the Niners for someone they just can't pass up on at 33.

Doubtful anyone gives up picks in 27 but it would be effing great if we could

I don't understand going quantity over quality. The chances of drafting elite impact players go down when you trade back. It should be easier to draft a good player the higher you're drafting.

Who would you have picked at #27? I think they were gambling that Lomu woud be there at 30 and saw an opportunity to get another pick. NE rraded up and moved ahead of them and took Lomu, There wasn't much left so they traded back again.

Same. I could see them adding another 4th and moving down five or six spots.

I hear you, but this is a weak draft and we picked #27 overall. Same quality of players at the top of the 2nd as the bottom of the first??

Yeah but this isn't that kind of draft, there's good depth going into the 4th round but the elite talent has all left the building and left it really early in the 1st. This is a exactly the kind of draft where you want as many bites of the apple as possible so I'm thrilled to see them being patient and letting it come to them.
my top 10:

1. Jermod McCoy CB Tennessee
2. Kayden McDonald NT Ohio St.
3. Emmanuel McNeil-Warren SS Toledo
4. Denzel Boston WR Washington
5. Treydan Stukes FS Arizona
6. TJ Parker DE Clemson
7. Emmanuel Pregnon OG Oregon
8. Cashius Howell DE Texas A&M
9. Zion Young DE Missouri
10. Christen Miller DT Georgia

I'm good with another trade back

Unfortunately Lynch also sucks in the 2nd round

Good that he traded down, but the second trade down was weak

Based on how the draft worked out I probably couldn't have gone passed EMW at 27 if we had to make a pick, even though I was sure we'd go WR or Edge.

So based on the fact EMW is still available I can't say we made a bad move - even though I don't think we'll take EMW.
