I think Black was the worst pick of the entire draft so far. Drafted a practice squad caliber RB in the 3rd round. One of the lowest valued positions in football whom they did not need. They passed on so many better players the entire draft has felt like they simply had no idea what they were doing. Black takes the cake

They also have bad safeties that can't cover. Bears knew they needed to stop getting burned deep and drafted a safety. Their response is screw it, just score more points.

He is right though. An overwhelming majority of these players will never really play snaps or have any meaningful impact.
And on top of it, it is only like 8% of draft picks sign their 2nd contract with the team that drafted them.
And yet if you look at the teams that have won the last few SBs, they have rebuilt themselves through the draft.
And if you look at our weakness, it's OL and we consistently ignore it in the draft.
So you can continue to call it a crapshoot but that doesn't mean it's not the difference between winning a SB and not winning a SB.
Safety too??
Yeah safety too, but we at least drafted a few safeties in high rounds so there was an attempt to fix it. Same not true for OL

absolutely brutal
According to whom? Everyone acts like we won 2 games last year.
Because we have nothing to counter the top team Seattle. And while we added some speed at receiver, they have added to their seconday. And we still aren't any better off in terms of moving their D-line, so I agree with the poster. We had to ace this draft and we are not.
Acing the draft was particularly necessary because of our aging core.

You are treating the draft like it is a vacuum. Like it was the only opportunity to add new players.
Where else where they improve the talent of the o-line?
Walmart isle 3... Are you this gullible? Regardless what you think of the 2 OL they picked up in FA they added to it. They still have time to trade or sign people. You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes.

Yup. Thought the receiver was bad but this makes that look decent.

That's my hope that ShanaLynch have plans for all these reaches and their production will justify their draft position.

EXIT must be shown to Lynch and Shanny...
For the 5th year in a row, both have proven that they do not know what the Draft if all about..

If you love OL play the 9ers are not a team for you. Kyle has stated it time and time again. He doesnt cater to OL. If you want 5 #1 picks on the line then find another team..

I'm taking the under and none will be on this roster in two years.

- They are saying value is completely out the window in this draft with players all over the place so no one knows who is going where
Well that makes all these picks make sense then. If this is the worst draft class in decades, due to Covid. Yeah, everybody is going to reach - I guess.

Niners simply don't draft and develop, just more old guys that can't play yet
