Listening to Dieter and Hutchison right now

- They consider the worst overall talent in an nfl draft in 2 decades

- Black is the highest floor running back in an awful running back draft

- Hutchison loves the pick

- They believe it's a good pick in isolation if you remove the 3rd round rb history

--They are saying it's a much better pick than Nick Martin 3rd round last year who they absolutely hated.

- They are saying value is completely out the window in this draft with players all over the place so no one knows who is going where

sorry, but who the hell are Dieter and Hutchinson?

He is right though. An overwhelming majority of these players will never really play snaps or have any meaningful impact.

And on top of it, it is only like 8% of draft picks sign their 2nd contract with the team that drafted them.

It's a Not For Long sport, that's for sure.
Jordan James and Jordan Watkins in 2025...now Kaelon Black and Stribling in 2026.

Stribling better be a future #1 for where we took him at 33.

Where else where they improve the talent of the o-line?

So, they won't compete now? Even after winning 11 games with backups last year? They had a decent FA period. We'll have to wait and see re the draft

I'm trying to not be hyperbolic, but they've literally done nothing to close the gap with Seattle. Literally nothing. They won't be able to run the ball or stop the pass rush next season again vs Seattle.

I think adding a big fast and physical WR is helpful, but agreed overall. These guys need to be questioned

If James and Black fail to work out then people just need to start getting fired because its insane for a team to blow so much draft capital on RBs and have so little to show for it.

Lynch should've been fired after Lance

Would not have changed anything, Jed would run to Kyle and ask him who to hire to replace Lynch and Kyle would continue to call all the shots at the draft. Nothing will change until Jed grows some balls and moves on from Kyle.

He just needs to hire someone who can stand up to Kyle, if that's the issue. Eddie D stripped Bill Walsh of responsibilities AFTER Walsh had already won SBs.

It can be done, Jed is just too weak to do it.

That will never happen, because Kyle will want full control or he would rather move on.

I think the reason we had a good draft last year was because Robert Saleh could challenge Kyle. I don't think the new coaching staff wanted to do that. We lost a ton of good defensive coaches this last cycle, and so the new guys probably don't feel like challenging the boss being just newbies to the organization.

WR isn't very helpful if Purdy gets his head taken off every time he drops back to pass.

Cowboys are killing it.

💯 winning a SB before SF, no debate.
Lol, have you seen Dak in the playoffs?

Nope but I see an update roster, two legit WR1s. They're going farther than SF next season. Cope.
Based on the draft? Please.
Two 50 year old WRS, and one who can't play consecutive weeks without getting injured, 32 year old TE coming off torn Achilles, 30 year old RB coming off 400 touches who Kyle never takes off the field, and a below average OL. I'll take that bet.
Lol, are you always so over-emotional?

Tell me how I'm wrong, except of course the 50 year old comment which was sarcasm, in case you missed it.
You're not wrong because you're giving your opinion. Doesn't make you right either.
Seahawks loading up on big CB's.

After we got big wr's, smart of them.

49ers probably have one of the oldest and weakest O-lines in the NFL. What do they do, sign a bunch of cheap ass free agents and don't do s**t in the first three rounds of the draft!!!! Chris Forester needs to f**kin go!!!

Well that's the saving grace, that Kyle is an offensive wizard. Having said that, he's missed on the super bowl twice already and I think one reason is that he's just not top notch in the drafting area. We'll see what happens this season, but I'm hoping things turn out good.

This. We've tuned our 1st rd pick which we passed on multiple starters and ended up with an athletic but not productive WR, a situational pass rusher and a f**king RB that will never see the field.

The board is a waste land of players at this point, but hey we got 5 picks tomorrow. Maybe we can trade down some more.
